Verified ReviewerFraud suspicion
I was contacted by text message saying that my resume has been reviewed on Career builder and have been accepted for an interview. I followed as instructed to provide my Skype email to be contacted from someone through HR department.
I was given a text interview on Skype with their hiring manager but many many things were misspelled. I was asked to create an ID.Me account through the IRS website then after my identity was verified they needed my login information to verify me as well. I was hesitant because all ove the IRS site is says not to give out the information provided because they are likely stealing your identity. But the company assured me it is part of their security protocols.
I did provide the information therefore the hiring manager had sent me documents to sign like W4 form and I-9 form and an offer letter. However the offer letter did not include the correct position I was being hired for and the training wage was not correct either. The company Unipart Logistics group is located in the UK but the hiring manager said it was based in North America. I doubled checked because I tried to call their HR department but no one would answer.
I am very suspicious that this is not legit.
I don't even have a Career builder account. Never experienced anything like this before and I'm very unsure what to do.
Preferred solution: Verification that my identity has not been stolen
User's recommendation: Verify you have a Career builder account first

Case Nr:1001****-This has been going on for a couple of months now, The first I heard from them since they had not heard from they decided that it was all good and closed the case. I wrote back and asked to get the case reopened.
After a while, I got back a message with what to do, I had instructions. I did not understand, I told them that Cloudflare said that they being Career Builders would have to remove it.
Well, today I got a notice that it was :
We would like to inform you that our technical team has informed us that you are using an Amazon service provider internet source. So, it is blocked.
This is my answer to them:
I do not have an Amazon service provider internet source. I don't know what that even is.
My internet comes from Xfinity/ Comcast. I don't control any of their processes. I have the same service I have had for years, there are no changes to my service. I have used Career Builder without a problem.
You didn't even ask if I had such a service before you blamed me for using something I didn't even know existed.
That's alright, I will find a position, despite the failure to resolve the problem. One more thing, you should have at least asked me before saying that I am using something that I don't know about.
Thank You
JW

2 job scams
I was texted twice today from a Mrs. Sage Walker, the head of Admin of (ENDO INTERNATIONAL PLC) and another woman, saying they were from Career builders.
After I went through the online interview which was over an hour long, I was informed that I would be receiving my working materials and that I would need to learn these different software's. I looked up one and found out that it was all a scam.
When I send in my resume for a job, I don't take kindly to my time being wasted and my information being given out to these scammers.
I'm 72 years old and have I am seriously looking for employment, not to have my hopes built upand find out the job is nothing but a scam. It now makes it very hard for me to trust what is being sent to me by you.
Ii hope you can fix this problem before someone is caught up in their scams.
Than you

Why did you provide all those personal details when the IRS warned you not to?? Of course the scammer assured you it was a real position! You might want to have an alert placed on your accounts with the 3 credit bureaus and change your passwords.
