Resolved: Dc account
My account is deleted.
I have tried many ways to discontinue my account. I retired 5 years ago and get calls continually. I just want to dc my account but am unable to.
Account locked/ Unable to Delete Account
I tried many times to update my posted resume. They locked my account for an unknown reason.
I called them and you can't even leave a message. I finally emailed them twice. They replied that they would get back to me. This took several days.
Finally they unlocked my account
I want to delete my account. Once my account was unlocked, I selected the "delete my information" option.
My account is now locked again and is not deleted.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. What they do may be illegal.
Do not set up an account with Careerbuilder!!

After completing my W2 I was asked by Curtis Moore (pwname) CRC Group to give him my credit card info front and back. I told him no besides their is no credit on their he said he would pay my credit card off for me then I would use the card to purchase all of the supplies and materials that I need.
I asked him why he couldnt give me a card or check and I make sure he gets a receipt for each item. He said that its expensive to buy thing for at home jobs. Long story short, I told him if I had to give him my credit card, I didnt want the job. Then I hung up, he was trying to argue with me.
I hung up again. He called back, I didnt answer.

Blocked From Using CareerBuilder
No idea, other than in the middle of responding to what was an available open job that CB informed me that I have been blocked from using CB and that has not changed in no over 12 hours.

Career Builder didn’t respond to my concern.
I am receiving numerous Job Scams from individual stating they found my resume on Career Builder. For me, Career Builder isnt a great source for career opportunities.

Under you internet heading it said free resume. You have charged my account 3 or 4 times.
I built 1 resume. You keep charging. I am retired I need the money you took back.

I was searching for job postings and suddendly career builders blocked me from accessing posted jobs. Do not know why.

I was contacted by text message saying that my resume has been reviewed on Career builder and have been accepted for an interview. I followed as instructed to provide my Skype email to be contacted from someone through HR department.
I was given a text interview on Skype with their hiring manager but many many things were misspelled. I was asked to create an ID.Me account through the IRS website then after my identity was verified they needed my login information to verify me as well. I was hesitant because all ove the IRS site is says not to give out the information provided because they are likely stealing your identity. But the company assured me it is part of their security protocols.
I did provide the information therefore the hiring manager had sent me documents to sign like W4 form and I-9 form and an offer letter. However the offer letter did not include the correct position I was being hired for and the training wage was not correct either. The company Unipart Logistics group is located in the UK but the hiring manager said it was based in North America. I doubled checked because I tried to call their HR department but no one would answer.
I am very suspicious that this is not legit.
I don't even have a Career builder account. Never experienced anything like this before and I'm very unsure what to do.
Preferred solution: Verification that my identity has not been stolen

Your site does not seem to work properly. When attempting to build my resume it wont allow me to enter more than one job history. So I couldnt apply for jobs
Preferred solution: fix the site. but I am looking for a free service

Why did you provide all those personal details when the IRS warned you not to?? Of course the scammer assured you it was a real position! You might want to have an alert placed on your accounts with the 3 credit bureaus and change your passwords.
